I put the BFV server back up running the GoF 2.3 mod. Feel free to come and join in. Hope to see you on.

For those that haven't played the mod before. This mod started as Recruit Snyders 1.2 mod and with his permission we have added to it. The readme that comes with the mod has a list of changes to BFV. The changes made were at the players request so we hope you find it as fun as we have.

List of files needed to play:
WW2 Mod----Extract to desktop for ease
GoF v2.5.rar----Extract to desktop for ease
GoFMapPack.rar----Extract to BFV Levels folder
GoF Addon Mappack---Extract to BFV Levels folder
El_Alamein.rar------Extract to WW2 Levels folder
Optional file: Buddy List Mod.rar----Extract to desktop for ease -- For keeping track of your buds in game. Makes their names standout by making them a different color.

New BFV Patch here:

Patch Directions for new Patch: 1.2 Patch and WW2 Mod - Install BFV and patch to 1.2. Install WW2 mod and re-patch with 1.2 patch. Then finish with 1.2.1 patch and install GoF mod.

Directions for installing BFV and the old 3 part Patch.

First install BFV.
Patch to 1.20
Install WWII Mod
Patch to 1.21
Install GoF Mod 2.5
Install Map Pack and Badlands Alpha to BFV Levels folder. Default Path:
C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield VietnamModsBfVietnamArchivesBfVietnamLevels
Install El Alamein map to WWII Levels folder. Default Path:
C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield VietnamModsBFV_WW2ModArchivesBfVietnamLevels

If you get a white or black screen the most likely cause is you are missing or have placed one or more of the maps in the wrong place.

I'm downloading the files. I have to borrow Smell's disk 1 to reinstall. As mine is all F'd up. But I'll be in there soon.

New Mod is up v 2.5.
Download the new mod.
Run the exe.
Click the uninstall button.
Click yes.
When done with uninstall click the install button.
Close and play.

yeah i have a request someone send me the files i keep getting the message ie cant open page when i click to download from the filefront any ideas

Sorry you are having trouble Critter. After some quick research it seems that the problem is on the website and with a bug in IE. The only work around I can offer is to use Firefox. Download it here:

I'm sorry everyone I made a mistake. I left out one thing in the 2.5 so I deleted it and put up the right one. If you downloaded it on or before 11/3/09 then please re download the new one. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you enjoy the new additions.
